Poppyred was first born in 2004, when Dan left advising for a big Australian bank and became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Australian advice was paused in 2010 when he left to build a new financial advice business in the UK. A Masters in Financial Planning followed in 2016 before Dan re-authorised in Australia in 2018.

Since that time Dan has gained Australian Self Managed Superannuation Fund qualifications and helped many expats living in Australia and the UK with valid choices.

The dual authorisation gives you confidence that the service you get is regulated by the appropriate authority. (UK financial advice by the Financial Conduct Authority; Australian advice by Australian Securities and Investments Commision).

Dan Collins

Certified Financial Planner

You’ll meet Dan during all meetings online and when possible, in person. He’s also responsible for cashflow modelling and researching the various strategies needed to make things work better.

Lesley Collins

Appointment Maker & Administrator

Lesley arranges meetings and manages service tasks such as annual client risk tolerance checks and client reports.

Edd Vallance

Administrator (UK)

Edd liaises with UK pension providers (so you don’t have to stay up past midnight). He’ll keep you updated and let you know of any delays.

Receptionist & Administrator (Australia)

Amy can take your message and direct us to contact you at a preferred time.
